About the Conference
Welcome to KQTcon 2018!
KQTcon 2018, the first national LGBTQ Korean conference in the United States, will take place from April 6-8, 2018. It will be an unprecedented gathering of LGBTQ people of Korean descent, parents & family members of LGBTQ Koreans, as well as allies & friends of the LGBTQ Korean community.
Getting to The New School

THE NEW SCHOOL, NYC
The New School is located in Greenwich Village. It’s an urban campus with no clear borders and conveniently located near NYU, Greenwich Village, and Union Square.
The cost of a single subway or bus ride on the MTA is $2.75. If you choose to purchase a refillable MetroCard, there’s an extra one-time cost of $1.00.
The New School is easily accessible by a number of subway lines:
The 4, 5, 6, N, R, Q, and L trains to 14th Street and Union Square. Walk south to 13th Street, then turn west (right) to 72 Fifth Avenue. Our Welcome Center is located on the corner of 13th Street and Fifth Avenue.
The A, C, and E trains to 14th Street. Walk east along 14th Street to Fifth Avenue (make a right turn). Walk south one block to 72 Fifth Avenue.
The 1, 2, 3, F, and M trains to 14th Street. Walk east along 14th Street to Fifth Avenue (make a right turn). Walk south one block to 72 Fifth Avenue.

Registration & Conference Information
Please arrive at Arnold Hall (A) for registration and breakfast on Saturday, April 7 by 9AM. Meet and greet your community!
All workshops will be conducted in either Arnold Hall (A) or Albert and Vera List Academic Center (B). They are both wheelchair accessible and within a short walk. Give yourself five minutes to get to and from each location.
