Join the first national gathering
of Queer and Trans
April 6th-8th, 2018
We're building bridges among lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and questioning (LGBTQ) people of Korean descent, with parents, family members, faith institutions, and allies. We seek to transform the Korean American community into a welcoming and loving space for everyone.
We're organizing a national LGBTQ convening for people of Korean descent in the US. We are building on a pioneering gathering in Louisiana 2016, of thirteen LGBTQ Korean American leaders from around the country and generously hosted by the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance leadership summit.
Who we are
We're a collective of LGBTQ Korean community members with over 20 years of experience as educators, organizers, and advocates. We're inclusive of parents of LGBTQ Koreans, faith leaders, bisexual, trans and gender non-conforming folks, immigrant and undocumented individuals, adoptees and mixed race people.
We're driven by a motivated team of LGBTQ Korean Americans and fiscally sponsored by National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance (NQAPIA).
